AMPHIBIANS AND REPTILES

Amphibians are moisture-loving animals that are shy and secretive because of their importance as a food source for animals higher up the food chain. For the dart frog and other small animals featured, I used a 100mm macro lens and a ring flash.

Reptiles come in a variety of sizes from tiny lizards to very large crocodiles. Close-ups were taken with a 100mm macro. Others, like the crocodile, were taken with a 100X400mm or the 500mm telephoto lens.
