Welcome to Art for Scholarships. This website is dedicated to making a difference for disadvantaged youth by creating ways to support post secondary scholarships. Many students from economically disadvantaged families can’t afford college or technical training beyond high school. This website is designed to provide financial support to these students by committing 100% of the profits from all sales of photographs and paintings or commercial photography work to a scholarship fund. The nonprofit currently receiving support from this initiative is the Portland Promise Center (portlandpromise.org) in west Louisville, KY.
I am thankful for the gifts and talents that God has given me and want to use them to bless others. To that end, I am dedicating my art and photographic skills for that purpose. Enjoy the photographs and paintings at your leisure. There are pages available that provide more information about the art for scholarships initiative. The blog will frequently provide the latest work and a brief description on how it was accomplished. Occasional video lessons will also be posted.
